John Harvey

John Harvey graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2003 and has since worked in mixed practice and small animal hospitals (providing first opinion and referral surgical services) in the UK and South Africa. John has also worked for The Brooke – an international equine welfare charity – travelling extensively while overseeing the clinical work of a team of 150 vets.

John has a keen interest and experience in endoscopy and surgery [both soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics (surgery of the bones)]. John holds the European (ESVPS) Certificate in Endoscopy and Endosurgery, currently the only postgraduate qualification available focused on endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery. John also holds the European (ESVPS) Certificate and PgC in Small Animal Surgery. John joined the team at South Devon Veterinary Hospital in 2014.

Outside work, John can be found out kayaking in the sea or rivers, climbing local rock faces or in his garage making furniture.
